Not throwing stones, this is just a topic of interest to me. You mention the pressure on the back of the compressor wheel. Would this not be counteracted by a similar pressure on the back of the turbine wheel? Could you recommend some good documentation/somewhere to read more about turbo charger dynamics and flow? basically I'd like to click the "would you like to know more?" button on your post.
